What is Islamic Art Designs?

Islamic Art Designs is a small family owned online store that launched in early 2023. We specialize in masjid and nature inspired wall art decor. We currently offer wall art, home decor, and personalized gifts, all inspired by Islamic art and culture. We work with a third party vendor based in India to fulfill production of the orders.

Which type of canvas is used for printing?

A poly-cotton canvas material is used by our third party vendor for printing the art design on the canvas because it is more textured than the standard paper used for printing. This material is particularly suited for art reproductions or as a way to make your designs look museum-quality. You may wonder why 100% cotton canvas material is not used. There a couple reasons for this:

• Cotton is termed as a breathable material, which means it is prone to ripping and getting worn quickly. Durability is not cotton’s biggest strength, whereas polyester’s elastic traits make it more durable as a canvas material.
• Because 100% polyester can get sticky with any kind of perspiration brought on it, using just polyester canvas would make the photos look like they are printed on plastic.
• 100% cotton canvas is expensive and requires high maintenance, while 100% polyester canvas is cheap but doesn’t enhance pictures very well.

Hence for these reasons polyester and cotton is combined to get the best of both worlds. Also to make the canvas wrinkle-free, lightweight, and low-maintenance.

What method is used to stretch a frame?

All the canvases are hand-stretched across the frames to give you the best quality display of your photos.

Which type of wood do you use for printing?

The stretcher bars are made from kiln-dried pine wood (sourced from sustainable wood forests). It's a strong wood that can hold any size of canvas material firmly on it. The edges are rounded, in order to engulf the wooden frame in a clean and visually appealing way.

What goes on the sides of the canvas?

Depending on the art design, the sides may be wrapped or mirror wrapped. In a standard wrap, the image extends and gets wrapped around the edges. In a mirror wrap, the image is mirrored/reflected on the borders.

Which type of printers & inks do you use for printing?

Our third party vendor uses the latest HP Latex printers and HP Latex inks are used to produce consistent results. By using HP's Latex printers, the designs are sharpened with a rich and vibrant color. Additionally, the inks are designed with the environment in mind which requires no special ventilation or hazard labels.

How do I care for my Islamic art?

In general, avoid exposing your Islamic art to direct sunlight, water, or extreme temperatures. You can also use a soft cloth or feather duster to clean the surface of your art.

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes, we offer custom designs for many of our products. If you have a specific design or request, please contact us and we will work with you to create a unique and personalized piece of Islamic art.

How long does Shipping take?

Shipping times vary depending on your location and the specific product you have ordered. The products are made on demand. For all US Standard Shipping orders take 7-10 *business days (including production and processing time). For Non-US Standard Shipping orders, expect 9-13 business days.

For all US Economy Shipping orders take 5-7 business days (including production and processing time). For Non-US Economy Shipping orders, expect 8-10 business days.

What forms of payment do you accept

We accept most major credit and debit cards (Visa, Master, American Express, Discover), as well as Paypal, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Meta Pay. All payments are processed securely through our website to ensure your personal information is protected.

Will I receive tracking information for my order?

Yes, we will email you the tracking number within 1-2 business days of shipping.

I ordered something, but I would like to cancel it. How can I do that?

Cancellation or change of order details must be done within 24 hours of purchase. Please contact us immediately at customerservice@islamicartdesigns.com

What is your return policy?

We accept returns on ALL products within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in its original condition and packaging. Please contact us with your order details to initiate a return and we will provide you with further instructions. Postage return costs will be at your expense.
